8.41 Release Notes
Thoroughbred Environment version 8.41 is an extension of Thoroughbred’s successful 8.40 release enhancing each tier in Thoroughbred’s Three Tier Architecture strategy. The primary benefits of this release concentrate on support and integration of the new VIP 4.01, Dictionary date types to facilitate Year 2000 compliance, extended Client-Server capabilities for ODBC databases, an object-oriented definition maintenance accessible from OPENworkshop and IDOL-IV, and improved presentation for the Window Basic Environment.
